New paper!!

This week we got a new paper published in Macromolecules !!! Our work “An Insight into the Anionic Ring-Opening Polymerization with Tetrabutylammonium Azide for the Generation of Pure Cyclic Poly(glycidyl phenyl ether)” deals with the precise synthesis of cyclic polymers. My contribution was mostly focused on the evaluation of cyclic purity by broadband dielectric spectroscopy (BDS), a non-conventional technique in the polymer synthesis area. Using BDS, it was possible to observe the “disappearance” of the dielectric signal related to end-to-end chain fluctuations (“normal mode”) in cyclic topologies due to the regioregularity of the polymer chains. This paper also reflects the hard and precise synthesis work performed by Jordan Ochs, as well as the excellent scientific management of my mentor Dr. Fabienne Barroso-Bujans. I thank them both for the opportunity of being part of this team!
